This beautiful 1949 SilverStreak Clipper has just undergone a full interior refit Including an interior and exterior polish. We also fitted a stunning black charred wood floor. a fully fitted bathroom with shower, sink and Thetford toilet in keeping with the original aluminium theme. A bespoke kitchen has also been fitted with a better layout and a beautiful design. The bedroom has also been restyled enabling the bed to be changed in to a seating/dinning area with more storage space and finally the lounge has also undergone a new refit with both rooms having been retrimmed in a stunning hard wearing crushed velvet fabric.

1 King size bed (sleeps 2) which converts in to rear lounge with seating for up to 6 people and table

1 double  size bed (sleeps 2) which converts from lounge seating for 4 with adjustable removable table

The Silver Streak Clipper, with its distinctive twin alien eye design, is a testament to Wally Byam's pioneering vision. Created in 1947 while Byam worked for The Curtis Wright Trailer Company, this design marked a significant moment in caravan history. After Curtis Wright's closure in 1949, Silver Streak acquired the rights to the Clipper model, continuing its legacy.


The original iconic shape, reminiscent of alien eyes, lasted until 1953 when a redesign introduced square windows, replacing the curved aesthetic. Of the over 2000 Clippers originally produced, around 200 remain, now treasured and dispersed globally.


Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful caravans ever crafted, the Silver Streak Clipper's twin alien look stands as a timeless symbol of style and innovation. 🌌👀
